Aiming for progress, not perfection.

a message via chalkboard.

the silver tray you can also see here and here has received the chalkboard treatment.

last night, i painted the center of the tray with three coats of chalkboard paint.
i left the silver rim as a frame of sorts. i let it dry overnight and most of today.

i also found wood blocks from the toy box to spell l-y-l-a-h.

i didn't think i'd leave the tray on top of the drawer shelf, but i rather love it.

i also pulled out some newborn prefold diapers and xs diaper covers.
they fit quite nicely in this vintage book holder thingy. score.

SO cannot wait for that fluffy butt.

the whole view.
slowly, but surely coming together for the one who is so loved.

Fantastic progress, love the tray! And you really do cloth diapers? Like, for her to wear, not just use a burp cloth? Mad respect from me, woman. I couldn't imagine how much more work cloth diapers are. Good for you!
