march nursery nook progress.

here's what we have so far, folks. i added the shelf and the little vignette inside of it, the plates on the wall, the stuffed bunny, the butterfly mobile, the chair and the wire baskets on the bottom of the shelf.

the shelf is a vintage drawer hung sideways and in it is a vase and succulent plant (both from anthropologie), a vintage glass baby bottle (garage sale), wooden toy keys (etsy), a vintage camera (gift from my BIL), leather baby moccasins (thrifted) and a vintage smu pennant (etsy). on top of the shelf right now is a silver tray that i plan to paint with chalkboard paint and maybe write her name...? i don't know that it will stay on top of the shelf.

the plates on the wall are from anthropologie as well. the blue one reads "rivers hilltops waterfalls" and the red one reads "star filled skies"....i love them. a lot. the bunny was a hobby lobby score from among the cheesy easter stuffed animals. she's so stinkin cute. and half off to boot. the butterfly mobile is a picture mobile that was in gray's room. i attached silk butterflies from the floral department at hobby lobby. they look so pretty from the underside. the chair has been sitting in my garage since last summer when i bought it at a garage sale for $1. i can't decide if i like the chippy brown or if i should paint it something else. the wire baskets are from an antique store in town, and currently hold stacks of onesies, hats, bloomers, blankets, etc.

i took the green metal shelf out and resigned myself to putting all the hanging clothes in the unused side of gray's closet. i wanted to keep it all in the nook, but it just looks too messy.

there is still much to do, but it's starting to take shape. we have three months until we meet our sweet lylah ruth, time i know that will drag on and race by at the same time.

So creative and fabulous!! Love the thrift finds. That drawer shelf is an idea I may have to steal. You're doing a great job!
