a few more details.

this wall in lylah's nook is making progress, slow and steady, with the addition of wrought iron umbrella hooks (hobby lobby) and an art print from indie fixx's feed your soul project (free! minus the $2 for printing at heb).

i love the umbrellas. whimsical and unexpected. they came from the garden section at hobby lobby and are rather heavy.

the print is currently hanging with artist tape while i look for a frame and mat to coordinate. what color frame should i go with? my first choice would be white, but it would blend into the wall.

finally, this a-ma-zing baby bonnet. i'm not going to tell you too much about it yet. i have a whole post planned and need to take some better photos in the daylight. these were taken this morning while it was still dark out. suffice to say, i CANNOT wait to put this sweet thing on lylah's little head. purple + poppies = very happy sarah.

also, it dawned on me yesterday that a subtle theme is emerging not-on-purpose in lylah's nook. after realizing it, one key piece for the wall became clear. i am "commissioning" it, and want to add it before i reveal the theme. in the meantime, are there any guesses? crystal and kylah aren't allowed to guess. :)

my first thought was mary poppins because of the umbrellas and that book you bought before (which I think is somewhere else and not in the nook? can't remember).
