nursery nook progress.

nursery nook -- a tiny, secluded corner of an already functioning room used as a baby nursery.

the arrival of baby three means someone will have to share a room. because we don't need more than one child awake at a time, that someone will be mama and daddy. eventually, baby three will share with a sibling (ellie if it's a girl, gray if it's a boy), but until he or she is sleeping through the night, the nursery nook it will be.

inspired by crystal's post about decorating baby mya's nursery, i am going to post updates every tuesday on the nursery nook progress.

first, a few recently aquired accessories.

this is a nursery/thrifting combo. bonus! these sweet little shoes were $1.50 at salvation army last week. i don't know if i'll actually put them on the baby, but they will definitely be cute on a shelf.

in keeping with my love of all things vintage (or vintage-inspired), a replica 19th-century baby powder tin. i bought it at concho confetti, a local antique mall. and it's lovely.

I've got orange on the brain for my nursery. You better keep a close eye on that tin if I ever come over.
