on the way out west.

it's always been a dream. one i wasn't really sure would come true. i guess maybe it seemed too good. or too...far west. but beginning in about june, the Lord began to speak to my heart. He told me change was coming. i had no idea what to expect, though i did venture a guess or 9,000. but in His time, He revealed the plan. and though there is much He has yet to divulge, two things are for certain:

1.) landon is going to be the next youth pastor at safa!
2.) and this is our new (rent) house!!!!!!

(expect so much more on this topic in the coming days. i'm telling you, you're going to be sick of we're-moving-to-san-angelo talk.)

That looks so much like my first house!! It's not the actual house but very close...
I am so happy for you and your family!
I know you are giving up some really big things to move here!
I know your mom and sister are very near you right now, I don't know if I could leave, you're probably less helpless than me... :)
But I guess if God calls, we must answer - And I am so glad He has called you here!!
Congratualtions on finding a house - a very cute house! And thank you for answering the call! I look forward to seeing you lots and lots!

It's most certainly a wonderful place (once you get over the not so big city shock). I'm glad we get to leave our teenagers in experienced hands. There are some really great kids. We've been telling them over and over that they would soon have new youth pastors who would be way cooler and pretty soon they would forget all about us. =) They haven't believed us but maybe now they will. I hope the transition is an easy one for all.

That's great you guys found a house! I know you must be excited about that part. I wonder where it is.

I have to say that it makes everything seem even more final now that someone is coming to "take our place". This is a hard chapter to close. =( I hope you guys have a wonderful time like we have! John and I both expect that great things will happen under you guys. I'm glad we will still be connected so we can know how they're doing......

Sarahhhh! Oh my goodness. So happy for you. I've been down for a few days so haven't been on the blogs lately. This is amazing news. Isn't it funny how we know God is working something out in us but we just don't know what and then when He reveals it to us we realize it's so much more than we could have ever hoped for!!! So, so, so happy for you Landon and Ellie!
