sarahpie creations: now available on ebay.

i don't believe you could be reading this now and have missed the huge, strangly overhanging (i have no idea how to fix that) ebay link that is now located on the sidebar of this blog.

i posted an item just now, and if a potential buyer were to make it inside the listing, he/she would see that i'm hawking custom-made cards. no job too big; no job too small.

the two cards pictured are examples of my latest work. ha. that sounds funny. latest work.

anyway, i have no idea if anything will come of it.

in my dreams this turns into a lucrative business, and i can quit my job, save for ellie's college, pay off debt and buy a house just by sitting around cutting paper and sticking stickers.

hey, i can dream, right?

if i had another two hours, i'd figure out how much it would cost to start an ebay store. maybe later.

anyway. order something. tell all your friends. no, really. i'm serious.

i'm scared 10 days will go by, and no one will even look.

and i don't know if i can handle that kind of rejection.

I don't see a link on your blog and I went onto ebay and searched and found nothing. How can I find what you're talking about?

That's awesome! I wish you great success! Ebay is great for selling some things and not so great for others - hopefully you've found a good one. Congratulations on that first bid. =)

I love this idea!I have wanted to do something similar so many times and just never have. I think it will be a great success. You have such great taste! Have you thought about finding some art shows or something to display your things? There is just something about people being able to touch...I love the name too! So very cute! Have fun!

great idea!

here's a tip for you: make the auctions "Dutch Auctions" - where it's not just 1 item the person is bidding on for $5, but rather multiple cards, all priced $5. That's how you'll get more buyers - so they dont' have to bid for the card, but they know they can buy one for $5, or two for $10, etc.

make sensola?
