Aiming for progress, not perfection.

"...being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you
will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus."

nothing like last weekend's shopping to get you through a tuesday.

this saturday i was driving to lewisville to get fitted for a bridesmaid dress for molly's wedding. the mean alterations lady is a story in herself. anyway, molly had been wanting to go to carter's to buy my baby girl something so i texted her about meeting me after the fitting. here, my friends, is the fruit of that labor. the five purple onesies are 6 months and she'll be so cute in them in the summer. i bought those. molly spoiled me for sure. she bought me the long-sleeved purple pajama (look at the ruffle on the butt!) and the long-sleeved green pajama with the turtles. sooo cute. oh, and those bibs too. she's so sweet. and i also bought the pink suede diaper bag. look at the dots! it's really, really nice. i'm keeping the reciept in case i find another one or get another one at a shower that i like better. this one is pretty great though. what do you think? i've always loved shopping. having a daughter to shop for has brought the activity to a whole new level, however. fabulous.
