the tub.

there are tracks carved into the side of the tub from the hard water, a hole eaten away in the bottom of the faucet by minerals on metal. the paint is peeling to show the old tile underneath. red rust splotches white porcelain.

#1 a bathtub for soaking the day away
#2 water
#3 a house that's stood for decades, layered in history
