ugly doll love.

my dad, who came for a lovely (despite the cowboys loss...) visit this weekend, got the kids a visa gift card for christmas so they (or i...) could pick something out. ellie got a sweet red and yellow birdhouse that she adores. i was perusing a local toy shop when i spotted the perfect thing for gray. i've been coveting an ugly doll for one of my kids for awhile now. it's true: they're so ugly they're cute. they're also super soft and great for squeezing. grayson loves his. he calls it his "bebe." i have a feeling the ugly doll collection at our house is just beginning.
