milk question.

besides wendy, does anyone have thoughts/experiences on/in feeding babies soy milk? other soy products? also, if you don't feed your baby cow's milk, what do you feed him/her? i'm talking at 13, 14, 15 months and up, after they're weaned from breast milk or formula.

Hey, what are you doing up so late? Somebody told me to tell you to try the lactose free milk. I think it is called Lactaid. It still has the calcium and doesn't have the soy that people are afraid of. I love you

I'm no expert on this and I won't pretend to be, but "Silk" soy milk is actually pretty good. They make it in different flavors - vanilla is a good one.

I don't want to expound on this here (and I plan to do a post about it in a month or so when I'm ready) but cow's milk is NOT good for us anyway. There's still cow milk in our house, because I haven't been able to ween our family yet, but I'm working towards Silk. "The China Study" book sits on my nightstand these days and it is EYE OPENING! (you should read it in your spare time. hahaha)

When Angela's son, Jaron, was little he had to have soy milk so she could probably give you some advice.....

There was recently an article in Men's Health about soy milk, and the gist of it was that soy has greater amounts of estrogen in in... or something similar to estrogen, and is linked to men's breast development, etc. It was convincing enough that I'd probably ask a pediatrician before switching my son completely to it...
