Not allowed. You have not been released from the grips of your readers - and now, you've got us on pins and needles.
If I didn't know better, I would think this was some trick that journalists employ to boost their readership...

Hmmmm..... clever girl. I'm in!
Have fun on your date!

ditto. Someone needs to make their way over to a laptop and get to writting. You might have a reader's protest otherwise.:)

There is no Biblical support for blog-fasting (I don't think. I did a word search for "blog" and nothing came up.) So I will argue that you have hiatus-ed long enough. We are not amused...

I'm designing picket signs (in my head).

Enjoy your vacation, I guess. Just know that I visit every day, and nothing is here.

Isn't it funny how you can put a comment on someone's blog entirely to be Ms. Funnypants, then realize later that they were actually "fasting" from the blog? Then you feel like a complete jerk, because there is truly something sweet and holy about someone temporarily sacrificing something that is important to them to grow in God, and you made fun of it. Well, you probably don't know what that's like. You probably are alot more careful with what you say. But I do. You barely know me, so I should have been more careful. Sorry. I strongly believe that a public blunder deserves a public apology.
