also last saturday, laura and i went with mom to look at wigs. it was a fun experience with an underlying sadness. playing dress up is fun, and mom looked really great. (in which photo is mom not wearing a wig?) but the reason for wig shopping sucks. the good news is, mom found out monday that she'll only need four rounds of chemo (she was thinking six), and the oncologist wants to try to put her on 14-day cycles instead of 21-day. if her body can handle the frequency, she'll be done with that treatment and on to radiation before scott's wedding. that means, though her hair won't likely be back, she'll be feeling like herself for that special day. ya'll keep praying, OK? i really appreciate it.
pretty mama.
umm....no.
oooo... sexy blond.
i love this one.
mama and laura.
my peanut-headed sister. this is a child's wig.
it was my idea for us to all try one on. i'm regretting that suggestion now.
