on days like today...
...i wish i was a stay at home mom. even though i don't have any kids. i want to be wearing sweats and organizing my closet right now. i don't want to be trying to figure out what the hell is going on with the dallas independent school district. it's a near impossible task. i'm not trying to down play stay at home moms. their jobs are super hard. no doubt. that's why i want to be one without kids. just for today. i wish there were such things as personal days in journalism.

I completely empathize. I don't have any children and am no where near the stay-at-home-mom-ability, but it WOULD be nice to have some extra time to stay home and do "domestic"-like things.

You should declare a national holiday for journalists and send a press release out to the major media outlets!
