lylah smiled her first smile at me while pa was holding her at church on sunday, aug. 7. she was six weeks and two days. perhaps she was smiling in celebration of her big brother's third birthday. she's smiled several times since then. soon enough, i will catch it on camera. until then, trust me, it's a beautiful smile.
