red velvet.
someone tell me that slaving away over from-stratch red velvet cupcakes with french cream icing (yes, you did read a step in that icing recipe that says "cream...for 15-20 minutes) for a 2-year-old's birthday is worth it. because it's taken a dang long time, and i'm wondering if funfetti would've been just as well received.

i thought it was supposed to be a cream cheese icing? they look great and very yummy though
